Scale Goal Met!

So on day four on the 21 Day Fix Extreme program, I have already lost 3 pounds, which was my scale goal for my first cycle. I kept my overall scale weight loss low for these first 3 weeks because it took awhile for the scale to budge in 2016 (when I did the 21 Day Fix program). Using that a guideline, I figured I could realistically lose 1 pound per week, even with a stubborn scale. I certainly didn't want to be bummed out if my weight loss on the scale was minimal. It was because of this previous experience that I made sure to put more attention on my non-scale targets (photographs and feel of clothes as well as gauging my workout progress (how much weight I can lift, how much jumping I can do, how many reps, how intense I can do the workouts, if I can use bands or not). So, because I have already met the scale goal of losing 3 pounds, anything else that I manage to lose at this point (on the scale) for the rest of the 21 days is definitely gravy (unless you wanna call it sauce). This kicks up my motivation a few notches (though I have been pretty focused and motivated since I started 4 days ago)and I'm looking forward to doing something special (and non-food related) in order to reward myself for meeting this goal.

Walk in beauty and peace, my most excellent peeps.
