Dust Off And Get Back Up

I tried a new kind of flour for Two Ingredient Breakfast Banana Cookies today. I was worried that flour made from chick peas and lentils would overpower the taste the way black beans in a black bean brownie recipe does. However, the cookies are delicious. I also used Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips rather than Nestle chocolate chips. I found the Hershey's chocolate chips to have a rich flavor. I also used 3 ripe bananas and 1 cup protein flour and 1 cup raw instant oats, which are minor tweaks to the original recipe linked above.

I also spent some time getting my tracker organized and reconnecting to my motivation today since I struggled with my eating this past week. Starting on Wednesday, I didn't make the best dinner choices. McDonald's on Wednesday and pizza on Thursday and for Friday's lunch. I didn't work out Wednesday, Thursday or Friday either. However, I did eat well today and had laser beam focus on my workout. When I fueled post workout, I made sure to make it healthy options. It was just one of those weeks. I'm glad it didn't last for more than three days, but if it had, I would hope to regroup and move on as well. Awareness and accountability with my weekly blog posts definitely help to keep me on track and tap into my motivation. Tomorrow might be a good day for progress photos and measurements so I can have some non-scale motivation that might help me for the next craving.
